Sunday, July 25, 2021 : Family commission of Our Lady Perpetual succour church along with parishioners observed Grandparents' Day with a Eucharistic celebration presided over by Rev Fr. Denis Dsouza , Parish Priest.
The homily preached by the Rev Fr Denis Dsouza focused on the importance of grandparents in proclamation of God’s kingdom to their next of generations. Sighting that in his reflections, Grandparents and Elderly’ the emphasis of the wisdom and guidance of yester generations on the young was to be recognized and appreciated. Older generations impart their learning’s in young ones especially their grandchildren.

The Eucharistic celebration was attended by the Parishioners with great devotion . The cake was distributed to attendees at the end of the mass.
Mr.Arun Dsilva, vice president , Mrs. Anitha Dsa, Secretary of the parish council, Mrs. Jacintha Dsa Coordinator of 18 commissions and Mrs. Precilla Periera animator of Family commission were present.
This day the church celebrates St Anna and St Joachim feast.
