28-12-2014: The Health Commission of our Parish organized an Awareness Camp on Breast Cancer and about donating hair to the victim in the Church Hall after the mass. The session was inaugurated by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr Vincent Lobo. Vice President Mrs Precilla Lobo wished every one well and Health Commission Coordinator Mrs Laveena D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Parish Priest addressed the gathering saying that "Health is primary concern of everyone and everyone should take care of each other. Then not only the individual but all of us will enjoy the good health".
The resource person Mrs Shalini D’Mello gave an awareness speech on breast cancer and its prevention, precaution and treatment. In the second session she spoke on donating the hair to those who are affected. Preethi D’Souza of Gantalkatte donated 15 inch hair to the victim. The programme got over by 11 o’clock. Ms Wilma Sandra D’Souza compiled the programme and proposed the Vote of Thanks.
