Sunday 4th, December 2016 : St Francis Xavier Ward celebrated their Annual Feast at the residence of Gurkar Mr. Simon Dsouza.
The celebration started at 6.00 pm. More than 100 people were present for this ward feast. Among the invitees, chief guest Rev. Fr Vincent Lobo, Parish Priest, Vice President Mrs. Precilla Lobo of Parish Pastoral Council were present, also most of the Ward Gurkars. Rev Fr. Vincent Lobo, Parish Priest presided over the function and gave his well wishes to the ward.
Ward fest was inaugurated with lighting the lamp by the dignitaries. The function began by the invocation of the Divine by Ms Aneesha D souza and group.
The gathering was welcomed by ward gurkar Mrs. Simon Dsouza and presenting rose to each invitees.
Games and cultural programs were conducted, all members actively participated sharing joy and unity. Prizes were distributed for the winners who won in the event.
Mr Glenn Dsouza compiled the event, and thanked all the people who made this Feast successful and for invitees for gracing this occasion. Home cooked delicious dinner was served to all people who were present.
