Feast of the Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary and Independence Day celebration 2022 at Nirmalpadav Church

It was indeed an important day at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour church, Nirmalpadav for we could celebrate the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the 75th Independence Day of our Nation on 15th of August 2022.

The solemn feast began with holy Eucharistic mass at 8:15 am and then followed by independence day celebration with school children.

Fr Denis Dsouza, Parish Priest celebrated the holy mass and in his homily , he invited all his parishioners to imbibe the qualities of mother Mary and thereby to become blessed  as Mary was.

Soon after the mass, all the parishioners joined to celebrate the 75th independence day at the school premises. Fr Denis Dsouza was the chief guest who hoisted the flag and addressed the gathering and conveyed a message that the future of India is in our hands.
