Children camp held at Parapady from 11th to 14th April 2019.

The camp began with the holy eucharist at 6.30pm on thursday presided over by the parish priest. After the mass there was a konkani film passport played in the ground.

At 9.00pm the camp was inaugurated by lighting the lamp  the participants along with the catechism teachers, ycs, and icym . The program was compiled by Mrs Anitha dsa,  the cordinator of the catechism commission. After the inauguration, the ycs members conducted ice break session and formed for groups of 6 members each.

The groups were named as immanuel, faith stars, super strikers and shalom.

On friday there were four classes with topics on I Belive, christian prayer, marian feasts and sacraments. There was a quiz session from the sermon on the mount. Children were kepts active with group activities , sing songs and games. There was excercise, work and games. In the evening Children came together near the grotto to pray the rosary. There was a cultural program after the supper.

On saturday the day began with the holy eucharist. There four topics viz; word of god, saints, church, 10commandments. Evening there was a Teize prayer conducted by Mr Derick. After the supper children shared their camp experience.

On sunday the camp ended with the holy eucharist. There 22 students. The ycs students Linet, Lenveera,Lenisha,Lavisha, Melita, Johan, from Icym Joslin and Jeevan served fultime as animators.

The ycs animator Mrs Anna Rego and Icym animator Mrs Sharmila Castelino , Altar servers animator Ms Preethi dsouza served as and when available. The good willed  members of 5  wards  helped  in cooking.
