Sept 11, 2017: On 08-Sep-2017 the Nativity Feast Day of Blessed Virgin Mary, the Newly constructed Mother Mary Grotto which was much awaited by the parishioners of Nirmalpadav Church was inaugurated at its premises .
The newly built grotto was inaugurated by Mrs.Jacintha Dsilva, Ms.Joyline Dsilva & Ms.Jovita Dsilva and was blessed thereafter by Rev. Fr. Vincent Lobo, parish priest of Nirmalpadav church.
The Newly constructed grotto which is dedicated to Our Lady of Perpetual Succour was sponsored by Mr. Jerome Victor Dsilva and Family from St Francis Xavier Ward. More than 150 parishioners gathered for the inauguration. The grotto was inaugurated before the Monthi festal ceremony.
Rev Fr Vincent Lobo, Parish Priest in his announcements after the festal Mass, specially thanked the grotto sponsors Mr. Jerome Dsilva and his family members for their generosity and financial help their showing towards their church.
Ms Preethi Dsouza, from St Paul Ward compered the programme.
