"Mariyalad Onji Dina - Season 2" organised at Our Lady of Perpetual Succor Church Parapady
Aug. 02, 2017: ICYM, YCS, Parappady Friends, Commissions for Youth and Inter Religious Dialogue organized "MARIYALAD ONJI DINA" program in the field of Mr. Sanjeeva Poojari. The program began at 9.30 in the morning with the prayer song lead by Rineta and team.
The stage was shared by Rev. Fr Vincent Lobo - Parish Priest of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church, Mr Jeevandar Jain - retired Post master, Mr Ganesha Poojari - member of Nitte Grama Panchayath, Mrs Hemalatha Poojari - member of Nitte Grama Panchayath, Mr Ronald D'Sa - Vice President of the Parish Council of the Church, Mrs Precilla Lobo - Secretary of the Parish Council of the Church, Mr Simon D'Souza - coordinator of the Inter Religious Dialogue Commission, Mrs Irene D'Silva - coordinator of the Youth Commission, Mr Jagdis - President of Parappady Friends, Ms Preethi D'Souza - President of ICYM, Mr Royston Pereira - President of YCS and Mr Sanjeeva Poojari.
The program was inaugurated by Mr Jeevandar Jain. All the dignitaries on the stage wished well to the program. There were variety of competitions to different age groups, eating relay and tug of war brought a lot of enthusiasm in the audience. Mr Sanjeeva Poojari was honored and he distributed the prizes to the winners. Refreshments in the morning were served by ICYM members, food was served by Parapaddy Friends. The program was compiled by Mr Edmond Nazareth, welcomed by Joslin Lobo, vote of thanks by Preethi D'Souza. All the members gave a whole hearted cooperation to the program. More than 150 participants took part in the competition. More than 200 people witnessed the program. The whole program remained a memorable event as a religious harmony.
