April 14, 2017: The Good Friday ceremony was celebrated devoutly and meaningfully by the faithful of Parapady. There were two way of the cross at 9.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. Many joined reflecting on the suffering journey of Jesus to Calvery. The ceremony of Good Friday began at 3.00 p.m.
Rev. Fr Edwin Dsouza, the director of ICYM of the diocese of Udupi presided over the ceremony. The Narration of the passion and death of Jesus was sung. He preached on the three types of crosses at Calvery. Its depend on the way we look at the cross in our life journey. The salvation is in our hand and not on the cross of Jesus. The ceremony ended at 4.30p.m.
