The Family commission of Nirmalapadav church organized “Elder's Day” celebration on 31st March, 2015. 29 members were present for the programme. There was tea at 10 a.m. followed by confessions and mass.
During the Mass the Parish Priest preached on the theme: "Accepting old age joyfully and keep smiling amidst suffering and sickness by trusting in God's Benevolent Mercy". There was special prayer for all the sick.
After the mass health tips on Diabetics and Hypertension was given by Ms. Raina D'Souza. She also checked the B.P of all those present. Ms. Joslin compiled the programme. The convenor of the family commission Mr. Ronald D'Sa conducted the games and distributed the prizes. Catholic Sabha Society rendered financial support.
