With the motto "Service through Leadership" the former parish priest of our church Rev Fr. Pascal Menezes started a youth wing in the year 2001.

Indian Catholic Youth Movement:

The directors who headed this movement are Fr. Assisi Rebello, Fr. Peter Nazareth, Fr. Vijay Lobo, Fr. Pascal Menezes, Fr. Alex Aranha  and Fr. Vincent Lobo. This movement has organized many programmes such as Christmas celebration, Independence Day celebrations, Environment day, Inter parish sports day etc.

At present Fr. Vincent Lobo is the director of this movement. Under his guidance this movement has been progressing in the right direction. The members of this ICYM (Parapady Unit) are grateful to the former directors, Presidents, Secretaries and outgoing members for this service to these movement .The agendas of this movement are discussed during the meetings. These meetings are held on every second Sunday of the month and all the members are obliged to take part in these meetings.

In this way this movement proved its existence in working for the total growth of people and has become a greater cause of appreciation. Hence for its continual progress this movement has been awarded as a model and exemplary association. This movement acknowledges the services all the former directors, presidents, secretaries and all the members and extends its heartfelt gratitude towards them.
