The first SCC meeting of St Francis Xavier Ward for current calendar year 2017 was held at Mr Lawrence Dsilva's Mansion.
The meeting began with SCC hymns at 4.00 p.m. The SCC meeting was moderated by Mr. Simon Dsouza, and compered by Ms. Anisha Dsouza. Each member of Ward as one family actively involved in this seven different steps of meeting with a meaning.
Rev Fr Vincent Lobo Parish Priest was present, in the meeting. He explained step by step process of Lectio Divina implemented by Bible commission of Udupi Diocese (The Divine Bible Reading) to the Ward members.
At the end of the meeting, as a part of New Year celebration, cake cutting was done by little children's of Francites Ward. Also Mrs Sunitha Dsilva who is working in Israel gifted a Blessed Rosary to all Ward members.
