The christening ceremony of Viona Gomes was held at Nirmalpadav Church on 7th Feb, 2015. Mr Vinod Gomes of Shirva and Mrs Reshma Jyothi Fernandes of St Joseph Ward had married last year. They were blessed with the child on 6th January 2015. Today they brought the child to the church for Baptism.
The whole ceremony was conducted during the Eucharistic celebration offered by Rev. Fr Vincent Lobo. We congratulate the parents for shouldering the responsibility of parenthood and thus involving in the mission of Jesus Christ. May they be blessed abundantly. May the baby grow in wisdom and faith. Mr Royson Fernandes was the god parent of Viona.
