Sunday 4th Feb. 2018: Our Lady of Perpetual Succor Church, Nirmalpadau completes its 50 years in the Month of May 2018. Enshrined amidst the diverse beauty of nature, the hillock has witnessed the miraculous transformation over the years. Since then several development projects have been taken up by the parish under the missionary leadership of Rev Fr Vincent Lobo, Parish Priest.
The parish community gathered in large numbers to herald the fulfillment of yet another dream on the spiritual hill as one community to lay the foundation stone for the Grotto of Lady of Lourdes in parish ground.
Parish Priest Rev Fr Vincent Lobo invoked the blessings with the prayer service. The foundation stone was laid by two of our elderly women namely Mrs Eugene Lobo and Mrs Serpine pereira.
The finance committee members joined hands with them. Vice president welcomed the gathering and Secretary proposed the vote of thanks.
The grotto was sponsored by Mr Stany Pinto from Neerude was greatly remembered and prayed. The contractor Mr Walter Pinto was present for the programme.
The parishioners rejoiced at the greater things that god had done to them.
