Feb 6, 2017: The Golden Jubilee celebrations of Our Lady of Perpetual Succor Church, Nirmalapdau was inaugurated on 5th February 2017, Sunday by Rev Fr Stevan D’Souza, Director of Divya Jyothi, Publications, Udupi Diocese and the Financial Administrator of Minor Diocese, Udupi, along with Rev Fr Vincent Lobo, Parish Priest, Nirmalapadau by unveiling the Jubilee Year logo.
Rev Fr Stevan, congratulated Fr Vincent Lobo and the parishioners on the completion of 50 years.
He explained the meaning of the term Jubilee, Parishioners of Our Lady of Perpetual Succor Church should be proud of themselves. We have to build a strong and friendly relationship with everyone, and forgive and forget other's mistakes.
During the Unveiling ceremony of the Jubilee year logo, all the parish pastoral council members, the elected members of 18 commission of the parish were also present. Around 200 parishioners witnessed this celebration.
