Dec 24th, 2016 : The Christmas Eve began with the Christmas Carols sung by Choir group of the parish at 6.00 p.m.
The holy Eucharistic Festal mass began at 6.30 p.m. The mass was celebrated by Rev Fr Vincent Lobo, parish priest.
Rev Fr Vincent Lobo in his homily, preached Jesus Christ was born in an ordinary family and gave up his life for the welfare of humanity. “People should follow the message given by Christ to the world and become messengers of peace,”
The churches were beautifully decorated with electric lamps. The crib depicting the birth of Jesus Christ were the centre of attraction.
Prizes were distributed for the winners of inter Ward singing competitions conducted by ICYM
After the mass, cake and cold drinks were distributed for the gathering.
Christmas resembles peace, Joy and happiness. This is a celebration of love. All parishioners greeted each other after the mass with joy and love.
