Sunday, 24th July 2016: "Proximate Preparations to the Family Life" - a day long program was organised in Nimalapadav, Parapady in well manner by Family Commission and ICYM unit of our parish.
The day long program began with Holy Eucharistic celebration by Rev Fr Vincent Lobo - Parish Priest, being the main celebrant of this Holy mass.
After the holy mass, a day long program for the all eligible unmarried youths of parish was held in the church mini hall. Mr Leslie Auroza, the director of Family Commission Unit from Udupi diocese was the main resource person of this program. Rev Fr Vincent Lobo, Parish Priest Nirmalpadav, was also the co-resource person shared the afternoon session.
The program began sharp at 9.30 am with prayers conducted by youths of our parish, and the program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Mr. Leslie Auroza, the director of Family Youth Commission, Udupi diocese, and Rev Fr Vincent Lobo, Parish Priest Nimalapadav; Mr Ronald Dsa, the President of Family Commission, Nirmalpadav; Ms. Irene Pinto, Coordinator ICYM Unit of our Parish and also Mr Viraj Saldanha, President ICYM Nirmalapadav.
Totally 45 members of youths were present for this well organised programme. Mr Leslie Auroza, the resource person explained the importance and prior preparations that are to made to lead a happy family life. He explained by dividing each topics in to four different sessions. Rev Fr Vincent Lobo, Parish Priest in his sessions also explained the Catechism of Holy Catholic Church that are to implemented in family life.
Mr Prakash delivered the vote of thanks at the end of the program. Rev Fr Vincent Lobo thanked all the members of Family Youth Commission for preparing delicious and hygienic breakfast, lunch and tea for the youths who were present for this programme.
